Copywriter
Nicky is our guest writer, lending us her copywriting genius when things are busy. While she has worked in a seal sanctuary in the Netherlands and a ski resort in the USA, it is her experience in publishing that she draws upon most at Staying in Touch.
Seeing new places, doing new things, meeting new people (old people are acceptable though). And taking an ordinary sentence and turning it into a miniature work of art!
I read 49 novels last year!
I’ve just discovered the genius of The Kinks – 40 years later than everyone else.
All of them. Favourite places: Madagascar, Morocco, Uganda, Italy and Turkey. Favourite memory: sipping mint tea at sunset in Fez, Morocco, and watching swallows darting in and out of the medina walls.
I run two small charities that keep me busy when I’m not working with Staying in Touch. The first is a taxi service for my children and their friends, and the second is housekeeping for a demanding and shamefully unappreciative small family.
